5 days until Barnsdale Garden’s Question Forum: Barnsdale Gardens has a magnificent medley of summer fun for all to enjoy this year and they also have a team of gardening experts on hand to answer questions. Every weekend during August, special events will be free with garden entry.

Join Nick Hamilton, Matt Biggs, David Hurrion and Barnsdale’s Head Gardener Jon Brocklebank who will be answering any gardening queries you may have at the ‘Question Forum’ will be taking place on 4th August, at 11:30am & 2:30pm.
Nick Hamilton, the passionate owner of Barnsdale Gardens, has created a haven of inspiration for home gardeners with his rambling, naturalistic, and idea-filled gardens. His expertise has led to the publication of gardening books and appearances on numerous television shows.
David Hurrion, with over 40 years of experience in gardens and nurseries, is a renowned horticultural expert. His insightful writing and editorial work for various gardening magazines, including BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine, have solidified his reputation. David’s practical advice and horticultural commentary on radio and television make him an invaluable resource.
Matthew Biggs received training at The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. He has presented numerous television programmes, including Channel 4’s ‘Garden Club’. He is the author of many books, including ‘Matthew Biggs’s Complete Book of Vegetables’ which has been translated into five languages. Matthew has also contributed to two Gardeners’ Question Time Books, ‘Plant Chooser’ and ‘Gardening Techniques & Tips and ‘What Houseplant, Where? with Roy Lancaster. He is also a panel member of BBC Radio 4’s ‘Gardeners Question Time’.
Jon Brocklebank, the dedicated Head Gardener at Barnsdale Gardens for 29 years, brings a wealth of horticultural experience. Trained by Nick Hamilton and with a background in leading guided walks and practical courses, Jon is committed to sharing his knowledge and expertise with visitors.
