Provender Nurseries launches pot recycling scheme
Provender Nurseries launches pot recycling scheme: Pots, plant trays, empty compost bags and bulk bugs supplied by Provender Nurseries can now be recycled at its site in Kent.
The recycling scheme is open to all the nursery’s customers following a recent trial with a select few.

“As part of our sustainability drive, we have been looking into this for some time, but wanted to get the process right before launching,” says managing director Richard McKenna, who adds that customer feedback ‘has already been really supportive.”
Provender Nurseries now has two recycling points for its items, which will be repurposed by an external company.
