Global Machinery Solutions set to launch Bandit’s first towable tracked diesel woodchipper

Global Machinery Solutions is looking forward to launching the new-generation 12XCT-diesel woodchipper at this week’s APF show – Bandit’s first tracked diesel woodchipper that can be towed on a trailer.

Visitors to Stand 1525 will be among the first to see the new 12XCT-diesel, which has been developed in response to demand for a tracked diesel machine that combines the convenience of road-towing.

Edward Baker, Managing Director of Global Machinery Solutions, said: “Our customers have been asking us for a towable tracked diesel chipper, and we’ve worked closely with Bandit to make that happen.

“The 12XCT-diesel brings together the access and manoeuvrability of a tracked diesel chipper with the practicality of being able to tow the complete machine and trailer at under 3,500kg. It’s what our customers have been asking us to develop, and we’re delighted to be launching it at APF.”

New-generation Bandit range

The 12XCT-diesel is being launched alongside the new Bandit 12XC petrol trailed woodchipper, which provides an entry-level solution for customers operating in the 12-inch market.

Both machines form part of a wider new generation of Bandit woodchippers, that include new features and multiple wheeled, tracked and crane-feed configurations options.

These include a three-piece safety bar, a wider hopper for easier feeding, 270-degree chip discharge from the top of the machine, and a chip breaker on 15-inch machines.

The complete range will be on display at APF on Stand 1525 – and to celebrate the launch, every Bandit woodchipper purchased at APF will come with a charcoal Yeti Tundra® 35 Cool Box (RRP £250)*.

Global Machinery Solutions is also offering trade-ins on used Bandit machines, alongside a five-year GUTS warranty for additional customer peace of mind.
