Office philosophy

epd Landscape is a UK-based landscape architecture, urban design and landscape planning practice dedicated to creating places that enrich both people and nature. We believe that successful landscapes emerge from a thorough understanding of site, context and community, combining creative design with technical expertise to deliver places that are environmentally resilient, socially inclusive and enduring. Our work spans the full project lifecycle, from strategic masterplanning and landscape planning to detailed design, contract administration and post-completion support, across public realm, parks, residential, commercial, education and infrastructure projects.

Sustainability is embedded throughout our approach, with a strong focus on biodiversity enhancement, nature-based solutions, climate resilience and the thoughtful integration of green infrastructure. As the landscape architecture division within the Glendale Group, epd Landscape works closely with its sister company, Glendale, one of the UK’s leading providers of green space management, landscaping, arboriculture and grounds maintenance services. This close collaboration enables us to bridge design, construction and longterm landscape stewardship, ensuring that design aspirations remain achievable, maintainable and responsive throughout the life of a project. By integrating design excellence with practical delivery expertise, we create landscapes that are not only visually compelling but also functional, sustainable and capable of evolving successfully over time.

At epd Landscape, we see every project as an opportunity to reconnect people with the natural environment. Whether transforming urban public spaces, restoring ecological habitats or shaping strategic masterplans, our ambition is to deliver landscape-led solutions that contribute positively to communities, biodiversity and the long-term resilience of the built and natural environment.
