Burpee Europe – Press/Photo Call at the Chelsea Flower Show

The Burpee Europe team are pleased to announce that they will be organising a press/photo call at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show at 2.30pm on Monday 22nd May 2023.

This will be taking place on the South West in Bloom and Burpee Europe garden named ‘Learning to Grow, Gather and Show‘, site GPF090

The garden, designed by Jon Wheatley, will be displaying an array of brand new Burpee varieties and also firm favourites too.  Prepared to be amazed at the stunning Fleuroselect Gold Medal winning Sunflower ‘Desire Red’, innovative new tomatoes, such as ‘Black Moon’ and ‘Bliss’, and also the gorgeous Echinacea ‘Pink Shimmer’ and Salvia ‘Purple Spring’.  All of these varieties will also be on display in the garden and some will be entered into the RHS Plant of the Year.

Neil Lucas of Knoll Gardens also will be launching his new book and presenting the first copy to the RHS President Keith Weed.

– Presentation of seed packets to Chelsea Pensioners for the hospital by the chief executive officer of Burpee Worldwide
– Presentation to RHS president Keith Weed by Neil Lucas of Knoll Gardens of the first copy of his new book ‘Grasses for Gardens and Landscapes’
