HTA wins two trade association awards: The Horticultural Trades Association (HTA) has won two categories at this year’s Trade Association Awards.

Senior policy executive Katie Neenan took home the Rising Star Award. She joined the HTA as an international relations graduate and has since led the delivery of a new HTA Welsh Manifesto and Senedd engagement.

“I’m really grateful for the recognition and to our team for putting me forward,” says Neenan. “I want to thank the HTA for supporting my development and can’t wait for what’s to come.”

The HTA also picked up a ‘highly commended’ award for Membership Engagement, recognising the success of its regional events series which were launched to offer more networking opportunities for its members. It was shortlisted for a third award too.

“Our members are at the heart of everything we do, and our team work tirelessly to drive engagement and develop benefits for all members,” says the HTA’s chief executive, Fran Barnes.

“The awards showcase the efforts across the HTA team and being shortlisted for three awards is a testament to the work we deliver.”

The 2025 Trade Association Awards – which are run by the Trade Association Forum and supported by the Department for Business and Trade – took place on 27 February at the De Vere Connaught Rooms in London.
