Landscaping Team Leader
We’re on the lookout for a Landscaping Team Leader with a strong foundation in hard landscaping and an eye for detail. This is a hands-on, site-based role ideal for someone who takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship and wants to be part of a forward-thinking team shaping sustainable, functional, and beautiful outdoor spaces.

Landscaping Team Leader
You’ll lead on-site, managing day-to-day operations, supporting team members, and ensuring that everything from paving to pergolas is built to an exceptional standard. Alongside your technical skills, you’ll bring good energy, solid organisation, and the confidence to build positive working relationships with both your team and our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality hard landscaping works, including:
- Paving (sub-base, laying, pointing)
- Brick & block work
- Decking
- Fencing
- Timber structures (e.g. pergolas)
- Paths & edging
- Turfing
- Water feature installation and maintenance
- Interpret and set out from scaled drawings and written specs
- Supervise a small on-site team with a focus on quality, safety and efficiency
- Organise materials and tasks to keep projects moving smoothly
- Liaise with directors, the operations manager, and suppliers
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients on-site
- Contribute to a safe, tidy and productive working environment

What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years’ experience in a landscaping or construction setting, or the equivalent experience and motivation to step into a leadership role
- Confident in building a range of hard landscape features to a high standard
- Able to read drawings, set out sites, and lead on daily logistics
- Good communicator and team player
- Local to Surrey or the surrounding areas, with the ability to travel directly to project sites across Surrey, SW & West London.
- Full UK driving licence required
Desirable Extras
- Soft landscaping or planting knowledge
- Experience with eco-friendly construction methods
- An interest in sustainability, biodiversity or regenerative land practices
