Meet the Cottage Garden Society at Gardeners’ World Live

Meet the Cottage Garden Society at Gardeners’ World Live: The Cottage Garden Society will be exhibiting at Gardeners’ World Live between the 13th and 16th June. Their display entitled ‘A Cottage Garden In A Small Space’ will aim to inspire cottage garden lovers that in all small growing spaces, no matter what area you have, stunning planting can be achieved.

All the shows that The Cottage Garden Society team attend are also the perfect way in which to explain the benefits that are available from joining the society, of which there are many!

Meet the Cottage Garden Society at Gardeners’ World Live

The Cottage Garden Society has been at Gardeners World Live for many years and has been lucky that they have had support from both Geoff Hamilton and his son Nick Hamilton, owner of Barnsdale Gardens (who is the society’s President).

90% of the plants shown will have been grown by members of the society including vegetables, fruit and herbs.  They also grow a lot from seed and especially plants that will attract not only bees, but wasps, lacewings, moths and other beneficial insects.

No matter what size your garden is you can grow almost anything in tubs and pots.  There’s always something you can use to recycle baked bean tins, old buckets and pots.  These all add to the eclectic mix of a cottage garden!

Why not come along and say hello and start your own story with The Cottage Garden Society!
