New products and demos for landscaper community: On Friday 14 June, more than seventy landscapers came together at George Davies Turf and Stone to view their new product range, watch live demonstrations and talk to experts from across the landscaping sector.
The event featured live demonstrations from Harrowden Turf who showcased their state-of-the-art Turf Harvester, Mews Plant Hire with their Compact Concrete Crusher and Hook Up Solutions who put their versatile and extremely manoeuvrable machine through its paces, making light work of moving heavy bags and crates in confined spaces.

There were also stands from key suppliers including Azpects Ltd., Millboard and Talasey Ltd. and attendees were treated to a free BBQ and refreshments during their visit.
George Davies, MD of George Davies Turf and Stone welcomed visitors and delivered a powerful message throughout the day in which he highlighted the importance of giving back to the landscaping community and providing relevant products and an exceptional service that supports them in their day-to-day roles.
Having recently taken on St Albans Stone earlier in the year, George Davies was keen to showcase the new product range and introduce their team at the St Albans yard, he said, “We love hosting these events and giving back to the landscaping community and it was fantastic to showcase our new product range whilst inspiring and educating our customers. We had some great conversations with customers and the Turf
Harvester had lots of interest. This is an exciting chapter in the George Davies Turf story and we’re delighted to be able to offer our customers a one-stop shop for all landscaping needs.”
Ben from Landesigns attended on the day and said, “To have a look around and see the different paving available and understand the stone side was invaluable. We have some great clients and to be able to send them to reputable places that are high-end and respectable is vital.”
Jason from J C Garden Designs has been using George Davies Turf for over twenty years now and also commented, “It’s been good to see the Millboard guys and understand their training options whilst also getting some samples of porcelain. There’s not many places around here that you can do that and it’s great for me to be able to show clients real samples. It’s also great to have a location to come and view products in situ and laid so you can see what they are like before you commit. I also really enjoyed seeing the Turf Harvester.
