Summer Gardens of Joy

In summer, Barnsdale transforms into a technicolour dreamscape! Expect bold bursts of colour, rich textures, and heady scents wafting through the air. Each garden tells a story, here are just two highlights:

Lands’ End Garden

Think beachy bliss meets blooming brilliance! Designed by Chelsea gold-medallist Adam Frost, this garden captures the charm of the clothing company’s colourful heritage, the Southwold’s coast with a nod also to Land’s End in Cornwall. With a beach hut, vibrant planting, and even a fire pit for alfresco vibes, it’s a little holiday hideaway without the long drive.

First Time Garden

Originally created for the BBC series First Time Garden, this space remains an inspiring oasis for novice gardeners. Its clean design and simple planting say loud and clear: You can do this! A perfect place to gather ideas for your own back garden.

Family Fun & Summer Shenanigans

Summer Sundays – Every Sunday in July & August

Family-friendly fun is in full bloom! With a different activity each week (included with garden entry), there’s always something to entertain curious kids and young-at-heart adults alike.
