Don’t miss the chance to attend informative talks on 11th February led by snowdrop expert Gill Hadland, and take home some snowdrops for your own garden!

Mark your calendars for the much-anticipated “Winter and Snowdrops: Breakfast and a Guided Walk” event on February 11th. After indulging in a delicious breakfast, join a special tour with Nick Hamilton, who will share the inspiration behind each garden, spotlighting vibrant bark, striking berries, drifts of Hellebores, and the impressive Geoff Hamilton Winter Border, featuring over 9,000 meticulously hand-planted snowdrops.

Hungry? After enjoying the glorious gardens in the winter season, it could be time to refuel!  That’s no problem with the wide array of food on offer at Helenium Tea Room.  The Winter Afternoon Tea is available from 1st January 2025 to 28th February 2025.

It consists of…

  • A selection of freshly-made dainty sandwiches: Egg mayonnaise and cress; Ham and mustard, Cheese and Pickle, Bacon and Cranberry Sauce, with Sausage Roll.
  • Vegetarian option: Cheese and Chutney, Egg Mayonnaise and Cress, Roasted Veg and Hummus and Cheese and Tomato.
  • Sweets: Two Homemade Scones with Clotted Cream and Jam, Eton Mess and Cake.
  • All served on Bone China with a pot of tea or coffee.

Priced from £21.95,  Afternoon Tea is served between 2pm and 3pm and must be pre-booked at least 48 hours in advance
