Takeuchi launch new 5-tonne short-tail swing at Plantworx
Takeuchi UK has expanded its new 3-Series excavator range with the new TB350R short-tail swing compact excavator, the company’s first five-tonne class short-tail model.
To be launched in the UK at Plantworx, the new short-tail 5-tonne TB350R has a rear swing overhang of only 75mm and weighs in at 5095kg.
Maximum dig depth of 3575mm, dump height of 3945mm and ground reach to 5925mm highlights the excellent operating parameters of the new TB350R. Powered by a Stage V ready engine with 32.4 kW and a four-pump hydraulic system providing a bucket breakout force of 37.3kN.
“Takeuchi continues to design and build excavators that are feature-rich, delivering a unique combination of performance, durability, operator comfort and serviceability,” says Holly Cooke Marketing Manager at Takeuchi UK.
A 7” touchscreen colour monitor, integrated air conditioner and radio functions means operators can be assured of the most comfortable working environment for all-day operating.
Service as always is designed to the max. The TB350R has a wide-opening rear engine service door and a right-side cover that opens overhead for access to key daily inspection points.
“When maintenance and service work are fast and easy to perform on a machine, it’s more likely that they’ll be done correctly and at the right intervals,” says Holly
The Takeuchi Fleet Management (TFM) telematics system comes as standard on the TB350R, providing owners and operators with machine health vitals and condition, run time (hours), and machine location, as well as remote diagnostics, scheduled maintenance reminders and customisable alert settings.
The Plantworx Construction Exhibition hosted by the CEA (Construction Equipment Association) is just a matter of weeks away! The working construction and technology event is taking place once again at the East of England Arena in Peterborough from 13th to 15th June 2023.
