Talbot Landscapes invests in new head office: Talbot Landscapes has moved its head office to Etwall. The short move to an expanded facility of 8,000 square foot on Heage Lane, off the A50 to the west of Derby is an excellent location for the national operator and will house the head office personnel engaged in the tendering, planning and execution of projects and provide facilities to store and maintain landscaping equipment.

Talbot Landscapes has built an impressive customer base across the UK supplying a full range of landscaping and related services to the public realm, sports terrain, construction and other markets.

Typical projects include landscaping advisory and construction through to maintenance of sustainable landscapes in city parks and recreational areas, large country estates, premier sporting surfaces, other public realm locations, construction sites and some housing developments.

Investment in equipment

Important to the delivery of high service levels in landscaping is the continued investment in the latest equipment, the technical tools needed to execute landscaping sustainably.

The enlarged footprint at the new Heage Lane premises will also benefit the team enabling improved equipment planning and utilisation.

Investment in personnel

Alongside the property move, Talbot Landscapes has taken this opportunity to recognise the contribution made in particular by two long serving managers. Both Ed Marson and Holly Fleming have been promoted to director roles.

Ed Marson becomes Contracts Director in charge of winning awards, project resource planning and contract supervision.

Holly Fleming becomes Operations Director leading the administration support infrastructure to the sales team and live projects.

Talbot Landscapes has recently secured the renewal of its contract award at The Royal Parks (a five year contract at Hyde Park, £7m) and has also secured a repeat contract with an established customer (a one year contract at Wantage, Oxford , £2m).
