The Cottage Garden Society Promotion Day
The Cottage Garden Society Promotion Day: The Cottage Garden Society (CGS) team enjoy promoting all the benefits that can be reaped from joining one of their many groups around the country. In July there will be another opportunity to come along and meet CGS members who can tell people first-hand about their experiences.
CGS will be hosting its Summer Promotion Event on Sunday 7th of July. The event will be taking place at Old Bladbean Stud in Canterbury, Kent, which was recently voted The Nation’s Favourite Garden in the South East by readers of The English Garden magazine.
This is an amazingly beautiful garden and the ethos promoted here is about collecting seeds and growing them on. So the team are delighted to be given the chance to promote The Cottage Garden Society in such a stunning environment.
The Cottage Garden Society (CGS) is an informal and friendly society of about 3,000 members. It brings together amateurs and professionals who share an enthusiasm for this type of gardening. It was founded in 1982 over 40 years ago, but the team are always striving to modernise the society, whilst being true to the ethos of ‘the cottage garden style’.
