The ‘We Care That You Care’ campaign continues!: The STIGA team are proud to announce that they have donated a number of products to Bath Organic Garden and Orchard through their ‘We Care That You Care’ campaign!

Bath Organic Garden and Orchard has been going for 33 years. It was the first community garden and allotment to grow organically in Bath and to offer small plots for people to try out growing in this way. Now they have 140 members who collectively and collaboratively grow vegetables, fruit and flowers.

The ‘We Care That You Care’ campaign continues!

They grow sustainably and renewably, harvesting rain water, making their own compost, using local manure and wood chip to enhance and nurture their soil.

They grow a variety of vegetables and other crops in open gardens, polytunnels and their large orchard. They have wild flower areas, ponds and two flowers gardens to encourage pollinators.

Marion East, Events Coordinator at Bath Organic Garden and Orchard said, “We were surprised and delighted to hear that we had been chosen by STIGA to receive some new tools. A group of members opened the boxes with great excitement.  Thank you so much. This is a real boost to our hard working and committed volunteers.

The ‘We Care, That You Care’ campaign embodies the STIGA passion for nature and the pledge towards a more sustainable future.  The goal? To support 90 community garden groups throughout the UK, honouring each year of the 90th anniversary, by empowering others with innovative, sustainable garden products.

How to get involved

If you are responsible for any non-profit, community group or charity that looks after a green space and would like to receive products from STIGA’s innovative, sustainable garden product range…for free, then simply register on the wecare.stigauk.com website.

The STIGA judging panel will assess your application along with your social engagement tokens. You will be notified if you are successful, stating the free products that will be donated to your community group.
