Barnsdale Gardens has amazing shrubs, trees and blooms that look wonderful throughout the year. But in June the gentle pastel colours of spring start to make way for an explosion of a technicolour firework display! If you have a garden mad dad, each of the 38 individually designed gardens truly are a treat to behold!
Fathers Day Brunch & Family Nature Trail
For something extra special the Barnsdale team are offering the chance for you to bring your dad to a ‘Father’s Day Brunch and Family Nature Trail’ on the 18th June.
Brunch: 10:30am.
Nature Trail: 9am – 5pm
Dad’s get free entry for the day, when accompanied by a child; so bring your dad for a specially laid out breakfast, where when you buy one, he gets his free. Enjoy a hearty cooked full English breakfast, along with fresh pastries, chilled fruit juice and unlimited tea and coffee.
Celebrate Barnsdales 40th Anniversary With Us!
If you want to enjoy a really special foodie treat! The Barnsdale team are celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the gardens this year, and there has been a special ‘Geoff Hamilton Afternoon Tea’ devised for 2023. It is available from 19th April until 30th September 2023. It costs £50.95 for two and is served between 3pm and 4pm and must be pre-booked at least 48 hours in advance.
The tea includes plenty of Geoff’s favourites such as:
– A selection of freshly made dainty sandwiches: ham & mustard; egg mayonnaise & cress; cheese, pickle and lettuce; beef & horseradish.
(Vegetarian option: cucumber & cream cheese; cheese, pickle and lettuce; Brie & cranberry; roasted vegetables & hummus)
– Savouries: pork pie; sausage roll; cheese straws.
(Vegetarian Savouries: vegetarian sausage roll; cheese straws and quiche)
– Treats: Mini sponge cake, lemon posset & shortbread, flowerpot choc-chip muffins; cheese scone.
– Served with: Pimm’s or gin & tonic and a hot drink of your choice.
There’s plenty to see and do all year round at Barnsdale Gardens!
