George Davies Turf & Stone celebrates double success at 2026 BALI Awards

George Davies Turf & Stone, a Harrowden company, is celebrating after winning two prestigious National Awards at this year’s British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) National Landscape Awards.

The landscaping supplier has been recognised in both the Supplier Exceptional Service category and Employer Excellence – Turnover Over £2.5M, highlighting its commitment to delivering outstanding service to customers while creating a positive and supportive workplace for its team.

The double success comes in a landmark year for the BALI National Landscape Awards, which are celebrating their 50th anniversary. BALI reported a significant increase in entries for the 2026 awards, with judges praising the quality of submissions and the skill, professionalism and collaboration demonstrated across the industry.

For George Davies Turf & Stone, the awards provide recognition for two areas that have long been central to the business: building lasting relationships with landscaping professionals and investing in the people responsible for delivering that service.

The BALI National Landscape Awards recognise excellence across the landscaping industry, encompassing everything from domestic and commercial landscaping and grounds maintenance to biodiversity, design and exceptional businesses and people.

John Melmoe, head judge, said this year’s entries demonstrated “exceptional skill, creativity, and professionalism”, while BALI chief executive Wayne Grills said the winning businesses, projects and people showcase the breadth of talent within the BALI community.

George Davies Turf & Stone will join fellow National Award winners at the 50th anniversary BALI National Landscape Awards ceremony at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 4 December, when the Principal Awards, Special Awards and Grand Award will also be announced.
