STIGA Donate Prize To ‘Perennial’
STIGA is proud of its track record when it comes to helping those in the community and there is no cause more deserving than that of the ‘Perennial’ charity.
The Perennial charity has been supporting people in the horticulture industry for over 180 years and is the UK’s only charity dedicated to helping everyone who works in this industry, and their families, when they need a helping hand.
The STIGA team donated one of their SBC 500 AE Cordless Grass Trimmer/Brush Cutters as a raffle prize for the Perennial Festival Dinner event on 13th October.
Claire Humphries of Perennial stated, “I wanted to say a huge thank you to Stiga for the battery grass trimmer which was kindly provided as a raffle prize in our envelope raffle at the Perennial Festival Dinner held on 13th October.” Claire continued ” We are really pleased to announce that the dinner raised over £31,500 through ticket sales and your kind donation contributed to the £4000+ that was raised as part of the exclusive raffle alone. Your support not only helped us to put on the event and raise this significant amount, but it has also helped us bring new people into the Perennial family which will allow us to further spread the word about our vital services. The funds raised with your help will make a big difference in the lives of those people in horticulture who turn to us for help and advice”
STIGA has always held the ethos of helping others whenever they can, whether through raffle prizes, fundraising or donating their products in other ways.
Amanda Kincaid of STIGA said “We were very happy to have donated our product to this wonderful cause. This is the perfect example of gardening industries pulling together to help each other. STIGA not only strive to work in harmony with nature but also have the values of caring for gardeners and producing a positive impact on people, our green spaces and ultimately our planet as a whole”
