Barnsdale Gardens Getting spooky this October!

The Barnsdale Gardens team is getting ready this spooky season for a humdinger of a Halloween Scary Spooktacular!

The gardens are stunning at this time of year, but behind the beautiful facades beware…there are plenty of frights!  Weird Woods offers a chance to take in the golden and amber leaves of the autumn trees whilst leading you to the lonely apple bobbing spot. Don’t keep your head down for too long; you don’t know who or what could be lurking behind you!

If getting creative is your thing, then there will be a formidable tower of large and plump pumpkins (this year’s crop has been exceptional) just waiting to be carved into Jack ‘O’ Lanterns.  And remember that all the family can get involved and everyone will be able to take their craved pumpkins home with them.

If you feel the need to get into the warmth (and safety!) of the Helenium Tea Room a whole host of comforting food and drinks will be available.  Vegans do not need to be afraid either, as the brand-new Vegan Afternoon Tea can now be enjoyed, it is served between 3pm and 4pm and must be pre-booked at least 48 hours in advance by telephoning us on 01572 813200

Barnsdale’s Scary Spooktacular takes place between 27th – 29th October, 12pm – 4pm AND kids in costume visit for free!
