Forget the spring clean, autumn’s the time to tidy up the garden!

Autumn is often described as the beginning of the gardening year, because it is when gardeners can really get a head start on next spring – failing to prepare is preparing to fail, as they say, and this is true too when it comes to gardening. A little extra time and effort put in now, will ensure that gardens look neat and tidy throughout the winter months, and will make things easier as they burst back into life. A good tidy-up also makes it harder for pests and disease to set in.
