Lawn Association Unveils New Educational Initiatives

Lawn Association Unveils New Educational Initiatives: In the words of a famous politician, the key focus of their manifesto was, “Education, education, education!”. Here at the Lawn Association, we are excited to announce several new initiatives aimed at advancing education within the lawn care industry, an area that has long needed improvement.

Our existing online learning course is designed to provide an accessible platform for anyone interested in understanding lawn care. This course dispels myths and misconceptions about products, and is tailored for anyone wanting to create a beautiful lawn, recognising that everyone has different preferences for their green spaces.

In addition to this, we are expanding our online courses (coming soon) to cover basic homeowner needs, a garden design and construction spec, and supplementary training for the PA1 and PA6 spraying qualifications. We have certainly not been idle.

We are also thrilled to announce two new level two training days dedicated to enhancing knowledge of sustainable lawn care. The first confirmed venue is the stunning Wrest Park, part of English Heritage’s esteemed collection with a set date of Monday the 4th of November. The second venue, located in the North, will be confirmed soon. These training days will feature a series of short talks on topics such as soils, nutrition programmes, grass species, and more.

Whether you are a lawn enthusiast, a professional lawn company, a gardener, a designer or even a landscaper looking to better understand grass, these training days are perfect for you.

We will also be inviting companies interested in showcasing products and machinery aimed at improving lawns to participate.
